Before the year ends people are excited of getting new planners so as to help in scheduling daily activities. Personally, I never had any planner before but I am into collecting notebooks. That’s why when I learn about Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (CBTL)’s 2016 Giving Journal, I was really excited to check it.

Last Nov.7, 2015, I was lucky to be invited to the Give Flavorfully: The Coffee Bean & Tea 2015 Holiday Launch together with my co Davao Bloggers.
During the event, I learn that CBTL has taken upon itself the mission to spread joy in all forms. Aside from giving flavor through one cup at a time, it is also a tradition for CBTL to give back to the community thus it has partnered with Real LIFE foundation, the beneficiary of The Giving Journal’s, by supporting the educational needs of the less fortunate.
Isn’t it nice to know that by purchasing your favorite coffee or tea you are also giving back to the community by giving the beneficiaries the chance to fulfill their dreams, help their families and improve their prospects for a brighter future.
How to get The Giving Journal 2016?
Available in four colors, brown, tiffany blue, mustard yellow and purple. You need to purchase 1 original ice blended, 1 holiday feature beverage, 1 tea late, 1 espresso coffee based beverage and 8 drinks of your choice. Starting October 23, 2015 until January 10, 2016. All drinks must be regular or large. That’s a total of 12 stamps.
You can also get a CBTL’s Single Serve Beverage System (Kaldi, Contata and or Desto) to instantly get the planner.
Here’s a glimpse of the planner to keep you collecting more stamps and have one.
From the quality to the designs, quotes, power words monthly plus coupons and most importantly its purpose, it is evident that The Giving Journal is certainly not your ordinary planner; it is a gift where the joy of giving and receiving it lasts well past the holiday season.
The launch became more fun with a watercolor activity by Ms. April San Pedro of www.iamartisan.com. I like this one better than that anti stress coloring book and I realize I miss art. If you’re a close friend of mine and reading this, you know I’m into drawing and creating DIY crafts which is really my favorite part when making my school projects before.

It was a fun-filled event and I am looking forward to more events like this:) This is somehow an exercise to my muscles and of course it is good to discover businesses like CBTL who are into giving back to the community. Indeed it’s the best way of showing gratitude and giving flavorfully.
