Walang Forever : Ang Huling Blog Post na Isusulat ko

Sabi nga nila, all good things must come to an end. Sa madaling salita, walang forever. Pero bakit parang mahirap ‘yon? madaling salita? na “walang forever”? ang unfair no? Pero did you ever realize? That really…nothing lasts forever.

‘Yong tipong may warning muna. Para hindi naman masyadong masakit sa puso.  Ayon… Paalam na! (sigh)

May bagong blog site na ako and it’s finally a DOT COM woottt!

Tara magsimula ulit tayo sa : http://thenextminimalist.com

Hanggang dito na lang…

Just Like Julie signing off….

Day 20: Wrap it up – (this post)

Overall, I enjoyed the experience most especially because I get to discover different types of approach in writing and I get to know bloggers enrolled in the same course plus the access to their output as well. We also had a very helpful Teacher or what they call as Happiness Engineers during the process so it wasn’t a struggle for me.

Although in the later part of the course  I’m already late with my entries, I’m still thankful I was able to finish it.

Check Out Daily Post- Blogging University and find out the courses they offer that might help you improve your blogging journey.

Thank you Blogging U! I’m a proud graduate!

Good Reads

You know what, I have never ever finished reading a book yet and it’s one of the easiest items in my bucket list but has remained unchecked for years and it’s totally bad I think.

There were days when I attempted to read short novels with the help of my friends who are also trying to find the right book for me but unfortunately nothing has worked yet. One possible reason is I easily get bored with single stimuli activities most especially in reading 1 long story.

However, my interest in reading has improved with online articles. I tend to finish reading blog posts or electronic book faster. Probably because of convenience and when one idea is tackled in a specific post/article I observe that it  worked for me better.

Thus, here are the blog sites and authors whom I find interesting and inspiring. They are the kind of writings where I find myself in my bed reading it up until late in the evening or during my off from work.

Break My Style

A fashion blog owned by model/ stylist/ celebrity/ blogger Ms. Laureen Uy. This is where I learn more about fashion styles as well as places to travel. I like how she kept her writings casual a nd light. I also love her shots and get inspired by it also.

Bucket list Publications

A travel blog by Lesley Carter about her bucket list. She is the reason why I also had my own version of bucket list. I so envy her adventures and I would really like to meet her someday.

Misslitratista by Chamee Pecson

A lifestyle/personal blog by a co Davao Blogger. I find her personal blog posts very positive. I appreciate her learnings and advises. Also I always love to read personal experiences because I like relating it to my self and I find it with Ms. Chamee’s approach in her writings.

Lola’s Girl by Jozen

It’s a blog about parenting, crafts, food but most of all it’s about a one small happy family. I like her photos and their family activities.

Life Inc. by John

The first blog I got addicted reading Haha. It’s a personal blog of a hopeless romantic man haha and this was my inspiration in making my own blog site. This will always be part of my sharing every time I’m ask about my experience in blogging.

I still continue reading these sites and I hope I can find a book which I can finish reading like the way I like with the said blogs. Thank you idols!

Party of One : Why Dining Alone Helps

IMG_1157

Eating alone could mean to others as lonely or probably makes the person doing it as an outcast. Well honestly it’s quite awkward at first…

but doing it once in a while actually helps. It’s okay to feel conscious with what people around you might say (like what I feel everytime I’m doing it). I think it’s that part which makes you stronger in a sense that you try to keep yourself assured and eventually you’ll feel that security that you need for yourself.

I usually do this during my off from work. It just really gives me that solitude that I need. For others who are health conscious, it also keep you aware and focus with your food and eating habbit. Well, am I? haha

Sometimes I also thought of this moment to be better rather than being with people. I mean “wrong people” then ending up the day talking behind their back. 😦

Another thing that I enjoyed while doing it is the silence that it brought to me. There’s peace within and its keeping the food more delicous. It’s not that I have bad relationship with people around me, I actually got big group of friends it’s just that I feel recharged eating alone once in a while.

Ironically, being alone makes me more aware of the people and things around me. Thus, it also helped me understand them.

Ofcourse, I look forward that someday somebody will be occupying that vacant chair in front of me. I’ll probably tell him about this post but for now I am enjoying doing it alone. I’m stronger and happier as well.

Have you tried eating alone? Feel free to leave comments.

Life in 2015

When 2015 started, I remember I randomly opened a book and the first thought I read says : “Some things happens to us that irrevocably change us in spite of anything we can do. Things are different after that point than they ever were before”. I actually forgot the book and the author but I came to realize how it describes my 2015 and couldn’t help but ask if it was  just a coincidence or I’m just really subjective this time:)
Looking back and like every new year, 2015 has been one big roller coaster ride for me. I got mistakes, procrastinate a lot, met new friends and maybe lost a relationship all of a sudden (well let me check it first). Also lost chances and worst became detached to some relationships or to people in the last quarter of the said year. It has been a complicated struggle between doing what I love to do versus the reality that it’s not only me should be involved versus the unresolved issues of being taken for granted feels versus understanding oneself versus keeping these unresolved issues versus all other “growing up” issues.

But despite all the struggle I know I’m so blessed with whatever I have and wherever I am right now. I have my family who has been very supportive with whatever I want to do even if sometimes I got little time to share with them. I also have clingy and crazy friends around me. After all, life is pretty wonderful.

2015 is over and I need to move on from the last chapter. Anyhow, let me just share these significant events of my 2015 which helped me appreciate life even more. Please let me know if we got common or opposite experiences (feel free to leave comments).

I believe that every situation either we learn or thought that we didn’t earn something is always a time to reflect and grow. And as we grow, lessons are learned the hard way but I think it is important that we always have a support group in the steps we take. Whatever we have in our hearts, even if we can’t exactly point out what we really wanted to mean to others, once we share our thoughts or open up, we don’t actually realize sometimes that problems become lighter.

I am looking forward for a meaningful 2016. I hope you too as well. Let go of the  things, a situation, including a hobby perhaps or even relation ships or people who doesn’t help you,  because at the end of the day it is better to not talk about people behind their back and another learning from 2015, it is always important to know your worth.

First 10k Run

T12348539_10205454601424038_1563506368_n

Last August 2014 I joined the NCCC HB1 Foam Funrun and it was my first time to register under 10K category. Unexpectedly, I finished it in 1hr and 27 mins.

Running is one of the free adventures life could offer but it’s always been good to run spending something that would benefit our friends from Operation Blessing Foundation. The #HB1FoamFunrun was great run for a cause.

My first 10k run was not easy but I guess the most fulfilling. The first half of 10k was about struggling and adjustment on my stamina and to the whole thing I was doing. The next 2k was about pushing my ego to finish the run. The next 1k was keeping my feet and legs going as the adrenaline rush started to worn out. The last 2k was about the overwhelming feeling and excitement on reaching the finish line, with my mouth ready for a big smile but still catching my breath then seeing your friends waiting and smiling as well. In all fairness it was superb and worth it.

Thank you Lord , running buddies and NCCC HB1 for lots of freebies we’ve got and most of all for the experience:)

Left Behind

Days turns to weeks

Weeks turns to months

Just like those good old days

which for now, seemed a blurry one.

Little deeds clings to memory

Little thoughts kept us happy

Bumping into each  other

Because tomorrow is never an easy way

Now I wonder why.

Everything seemed slowly moving

Presents became  pasts fastly

and leaving me behind this battle

just means breathing.
