Trusting the Process

“Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.”

— Astronomer Carl Sagan

Sometimes when we think that things are not going our way, we then feel bad. Usually we become resistant to life’s negativity. Also we find ourselves overthinking  on things around us.

As I grow up, I realize that everything really has a purpose. Indeed “all things work for good”. We only have to trust the process because the more we resist, the higher the chance of having fail expectations.

Also, at the end of the day, we find it more fulfilling once we are able to experience the process and have come up the idea on how to deal with those kind of situations. Then we realize, it’s all part of growing up.

The Shortest Day

Saturdays and Sundays are my rest days. These are also the days I spent time doing what I love to do like creating crafts for my scrap books, making art designs for my room and doing household chores. Sometimes I attend bloggers event when time permits or I go mall hopping and and/or food tripoing (most of the time alone).

However, Sundays became the shortest day of my week. I usually woke up between 10:00 am – 11:00 am. The first thing I do is to cook my meal. I am used to cooking mixed veges every week-end because it’s my favorite food and since I do not have anything to do, I take time preparing the food even if I’ll be eating it all alone.

After that, it’s time for me to prepare for Sunday mass. Most of the time I’ll go for a 12noon mass but for some other reasons my second option is the 1:30pm schedule. I am actually a regular Church goer. I believe that as a Christian, it is important to share our 1 hour in a week to attend the Holy Mass. Next to that is my time to visit the supermarket. Usually I’ll bought food for my snacks for the coming week.

It’s the shortest day of my week because when I got home I used my time to arrange my closet, prepare my uniform and my office bag. Then spend my time online for back logs and/or updating my social media accounts and the day ends.

It’s somehow a very short day for me but when you try to look back, I feel blessed for having such kind of day especially when spent with your loved ones.

444 Word Story

Exactly four days to go, I will also be turning four in my job. It has been a four amazing years as a Recruitment Associate. When I look back, I see myself like a tabula rasa although I’m a Psychology graduate but our curriculum was more focused on the theories and not on Industrial Psychology mainly.

It was not easy at all. I think the most challenging part is not really the tasks given to you but more on how you can actually adapt to transitions from time to time. On my part, it’s quite difficult since I become easily attached to certain person or environment when I get to deal with it even for a short while. But so far, after four years I think I’m getting used to abrupt changes already. Ho was that?

Presently, I am already handling higher responsibilities and it comes with major decisions to make. The past four years happened also because of the people around me. They have been my source of strength all throughout these years and I am motivated every day because of them. I always tell my friends especially those who are looking for a job that we can always learn the work but for me the most important part in every job is to have a healthy relationship inside and outside of your office.

I remember how I feeling the time I was hired. I even posted a blog about it to better express how blessed I am to be given a job like this. You get to improve your interviewing skills and how you relate with different people in the business at the same time you also help people to have a better life by giving them job. Kindly click here if you like to read my blog post the time I started in the business.

So far, I feel fulfilled with my job and it’s also a big factor to consider. I am not saying that I have a perfect job I can only say that right now things are just balance. The salary I received compensates my life style, the main task is manageable plus I belong to an amazing team and of course our office is just accessible to wear I’m living. Thus, I always say that so far, things around are just balance and I am contented.

Lastly, I see myself staying for more long years in the company.  I thank everyone in the team especially to my supervisor for the guidance all these years. I am still looking forward to spending more fun learning memories with the Team Recruitment.

Happy Fourth year to me in the business!

Maria Labo

So this is gonna be my first movie review ever. Everything that will be discussed here is based on my point of view.

I already watched Maria Labo movie last weekend with my friends. I would not spoil the movie but honestly it’s a 1/5 for me.

I think the director should have shorten the introduction of the main casts.

Also the choice of music could be classic but still familiar.

The horror genre was felt during the last 30% of the movie.

The acting of the main cast (Maria Labo) really needs improvement.

Lastly I will also commend the supporting actors who were really good in their respective roles.

If we were having coffee right now

Grab your beverage of choice and let’s have coffee. Would you like some Caffe latte?

If we were having coffee right now… I would like to tell you that it’s been more than a week since I didn’t eat rice. You know how much I have been trying to discipline myself with my diet and I know it will still be a long way to go before achieving a normal weight but I’m just too excited to share it to you. I would show you some of the photos of the food I took before eating, you know me. Surely you have a lot of tips to share about proper diet.

If we were having coffee right now… I would ask you what hair color is nice to try after this teal blue ombre or what hair style should I try this holidays. I’m confuse if I’d go for shorter or medium length hair style. Maybe you are also planning to get a new hair this year or for the new year you know I am ready to accompany you in the salon.

If we were having coffee right now… I would tell you that I am really challenged with my job right now. I am already handling higher tasks which I do enjoy doing. At times its quite draining dealing with different concerns at the same time but I know I will grow on this milestone.

If we were having coffee right now… I would tell you how I am enjoying my blogging journey. I would tell you some even ts I have attended and how I consider blogging g as one of my greatest blessing. Maybe I would try to encourage you to have one so I can also share my leanings. I would also tell you more blog posts I am working. I have a lot of back logs having a very wonderful year so far.

How about you? What’s new?
